What we do
Our community nursing service provides you with the following:
- Wound care (simple and complex)
- Diabetic care
- Catheterisation
- Administration of medications (including injections)
- Stomal care
- Drain tube management
- Complex medical care post discharge from hospital and some more complex personal care to you in your own home.
The cost to you if you are a pensioner under 65 years is $3.90 per visit. (Capped at $39 per month depending on number of visits and individual circumstances).
If you are over 65 years, the cost is $5.00 per visit (Capped at $50.00 per month depending on number of visits and individual circumstances)
Who this service is for
This service is for any person requiring a district nurse.
Areas we service
Area covered includes Bacchus Marsh and Melton and surrounding areas.
Referrals
Your referral will be from your General Practitioner, Treating Hospital, Regional Assessment Service, Aged Care Assessment service or a self-referral.
