Emergency nursing

Sunshine Hospital’s Emergency Department is one of the largest in Victoria. Read about the staff we need to help us operate this facility.

The Emergency Department at Sunshine Hospital is one of the largest in the state. More than 100,000 patients come through the unit each year, including about 27,000 paediatric patients in the separate part of the unit. 

A major expansion of the unit was completed in early 2021. We need staff to help us operate this state-of-the-art space.

We want to hear from you, whether you’re looking for one day a week to return to emergency nursing or a specialist doctor looking for sessional work. 

 

We’re looking for

  • Nurses - NUM (Nurse Unit Manager), ANUM (Associate Nurse Unit Manager) and RNs (Registered nurses)
  • Specialist doctors (Paediatric and Adult, Aged Care, Radiology)
  • Non-specialist doctors (Hospital Medical Officers and Senior Hospital Medical Officers, Registrars, Surgical, General Medicine, Aged Care, Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • Allied Health professionals
  • Pharmacists, radiologists and sonographers.
