Women’s and Children’s Allied Health

Our team of allied health professionals provide specialised care and support to women and children in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

What we do

Western Health provides inpatient (hospital stay) and outpatient (clinic visit) care for women and children through a range of allied health services, including:

  • audiology
  • nutrition and dietetics
  • occupational therapy
  • physiotherapy
  • psychology and neuropsychology
  • social work and spiritual care
  • speech pathology.

 

These services are based at Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s at Sunshine Hospital.


Care is provided in hospital wards, in standalone clinics or as part of multi-disciplinary clinics where different allied health professionals work together.
