​The Sunbury Community Hospital has been treating patients since 2011. It provides day medical, day surgical, day chemotherapy and haemodialysis treatment. It also provides a number of specialist clinics. The hospital was formerly known as Sunbury Day Hospital.

The Western Centre for Health Research and Education (WCHRE) is a purpose built, state of the art teaching and research facility available for hire.

The Western Health Dermatology team have a weekly skin cancer clinic at 1.30pm on Friday afternoons in outpatients at Footscray hospital. This clinic sees approximately 20 patients and does minor procedures and biopsies on the day.
