Western Health’s Intensive Care Units are located at Footscray and Sunshine Hospitals and provide specialised care to critically ill patients.

Footscray Hospital is an acute teaching hospital with approximately 290 beds which offers a range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute general medical and surgical care, intensive and coronary care, clinical support services and much more.

The Western Health Dermatology team have a weekly skin cancer clinic at 1.30pm on Friday afternoons in outpatients at Footscray hospital. This clinic sees approximately 20 patients and does minor procedures and biopsies on the day.
