Tax appeal delivers support to patients

13 Sep 2022

The recent tax appeal raised a record breaking $61,798 to support patients at their most vulnerable.

“It’s because of our generous and loyal donors that we will be able to e able to help thousands of patients to receive help and support when they need it,” said Julia Harper, Western Health Foundation Director.

“It could be to help a patient who has presented injured at the emergency department and needs a change of clothing items, or funding transportation for someone to get home safely from hospital.”

The donations are having an immediate impact with the roll out of Cancer Care packs to patients undergoing cancer treatment. The packs contain items that will help with the side-effects of cancer treatment.
