Fernwood Fitness partners with Western Health

19 Apr 2023

Fernwood Fitness and Western Health have joined forces to ensure essential workers can prioritise their own health and wellbeing.

Fernwood are the health, fitness and wellness club of choice for more than 70,000 women across Australia, and have been the leading experts in women’s health, fitness and wellness since 1989. The first Fernwood Women’s Health Club opened in Bendigo in 1989, by businesswoman, proud mother and weightlifting champion Diana Williams. Today they have close to 70 health and fitness clubs situated in every state and territory of Australia.

Western Health is the major healthcare provider to one of the fastest growing and most diverse regions of Australia, providing services to aged, adult and paediatric patients and newborn babies. Employing more than 11,000 staff (with over 70% being female), the partnership between Western Health and Fernwood Fitness could not be more perfect or aligned in values.

These values are intrinsically linked with Fernwood’s purpose to provide a place for women to focus on their health, fitness and wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment where their team of experts in women’s health and fitness can work along-side them to reap the immense physical and mental benefits that come with regular exercise.

The partnership provides special discounted memberships available to the Western Health community, providing a saving of over $300. Additionally, for every membership activated, Fernwood will donate $100 to the Western Health Foundation and an additional $50 on the anniversary of each member’s original join date.
