Transport for Renal / Dialysis Patients

There is no transport offered for patients attending appointments or haemodialysis therapy, however, consideration will be given to patients when appointment times are made.  The aim for WH renal services is to ensure that chronic satellite patients are able to access their ongoing treatments as close as possible to their home.  Once they have commenced dialysis, they are waitlisted for their dialysis unit of choice.  Allocation of a dialysis 'spot' is on a first case first served basis, but all patients will be assessed on an individual needs basis. For any information on waitlists, please contact the Dialysis Coordinator.

In the case of a life threatening emergency, call 30020.
