HEAD study

The Headache in Emergency Departments (HEAD) study is an international collaboration across Australasia, Europe, Asia, the United Kingdom and The Middle East involving 74 hospitals in ten countries. It was joined by HEAD-Colombia which 757 patients. 

The aims of the HEAD study were to describe the epidemiology of non-trauma related headache in adults presenting to ED including clinical features, investigations and outcome.
